How to identify the right part for your engine
- Find your engine’s dataplate. It is usually riveted to the block and lists the exact model and serial number. This is the only fully reliable way to confirm fit, since engines of the same series can differ in small details.
- Read the model name. The letter tells you the cylinder count (D for three, V for four) and the digits give the displacement class. A “-T” in the name means a turbocharged version, and suffixes such as “-E2BG” identify the specific build. Turbocharged engines have their own turbocharger and gasket part numbers.
- Match the part number format. Genuine Kubota part numbers follow a
