Thermostats in Internal Ignition Combustion play an integral part of the engine cooling system (Radiator, thermostat, fan, oil cooler, the cooling water) that keeps the engine at working temperature for efficient and economical working. Thermostat checks coolant temperature, opens and closes accordingly. Thermostats remain closed if temperature is below opening value.
